Yorkshire business telecoms provider, Intouch Advance, has been highly commended in this year’s Bradford Means Business Awards in the category of Small or Medium Enterprise 2015.

From an initial field of 20 leading regional businesses, which entered the group, Intouch Advance was one of the final three small to medium-sized enterprises shortlisted in the category.

Attending the Gala Awards Dinner on behalf of Intouch Advance along with 300 other leading regional business guests at the Aagrah Midpoint Banqueting Suite at Thornbury Bradford, was the company’s CEO, Simon Pollard. He was behind the strong Intouch Advance entry, which demonstrated a very healthy and steady growth – despite the recession – and covered all aspects of the company’s activities and progress in minute detail, including a projected turnover for the year 2015/16 of £6.8 million. These financials were combined with an ambitious roadmap of acquisitions, fund raising, as well as some of the highest levels of customer retention and standards of customer service in the business.

In addition, the positive impact Intouch Advance is having on the local community, not only through local recruitment and apprenticeships, but also its charitable work with the likes of Bradford-based charity, ‘One in a Million’, was another key criterion, looked at by the panel.

Simon Pollard, CEO of Intouch Advance, said: “We are delighted to have been selected as one of the final three in our category. That we were pipped at the post, though knowing how strong our entry was – and being very proud of our achievements – is testimony to the high standards of the competition. We sincerely congratulate the winners in all the categories, are honoured to have been highly commended, and look forward to next year’s event when I am confident our entry will be even more formidable – watch this space!”

Now in its fifth year, the Bradford Means Business Awards recognises the contributions of local businesses and individuals in the Bradford area; businesses that show strong financial performance, excellent levels of staff and customer care and which demonstrate a real potential for future success, in the region and beyond.
